About Me
Hello, and welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

I've always been fascinated by why we suffer and what helps us find greater peace, meaning, and freedom in our lives. My work is rooted in the belief that while we can't always control our thoughts, emotions, or circumstances, we can learn a different way of relating to them.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent ten years raising my children, worked in small business management, and devoted much of my adult life to mindfulness and personal growth. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University, have been in private practice since 2019, and continue to maintain a daily meditation practice that informs both my work and my life.

My Key Beliefs
My work is grounded in a set of guiding principles that shape how I support clients:

-
Be Present. Open Up. Do What Matters.
-
Where our attention goes, energy flows.
-
The mind is a tool: learning to use it effectively is essential to well-being.
-
You are not your thoughts or emotions; you are the awareness observing them.
-
Your response to thoughts and emotions determines your experience of the world.
-
You can’t stop thoughts from arising, but you have the power to choose whether to engage with them.
-
Most suffering stems from our habitual thinking, not from external circumstances.
-
Presence is powerful: moving through life moment by moment, without attachment or judgment, is a transformative opportunity.
-
Our past informs our present but does not dictate our future.
These beliefs are not just theoretical, they are practiced each day in the here and now. They guide how I show up in sessions, how I listen, and how I help clients reconnect with their inner strength and clarity.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, I offer a space that is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and rooted in evidence-based practices.
